Hi Everyone!
Our first 2009 ACM meeting will be held this Friday, January 16th in Longview Hall room 133 at 4:30 PM. James Bracy will be presenting on Facebook development with Ruby on Rails.
Facebook has over 60 million users. Facebook applications are a great way find a captive audience. You will learn at a high level how the
Facebook API works and the tools available to developers.
You will also see a live demo about how to create a Facebook application with Ruby on Rails.
Free drinks will be provided! I hope to see you there!
Also, if you haven’t become an official LETU ACM member yet, please consider it. Becoming an official member helps pay for drinks and allows you to put on your resume that you were an official member of an ACM student chapter. The cost to become an official member is $5.
